Our History
DETEQ Fire Technologies has over 20 years of experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of Life Detection & Suppression Systems. The team fully understands how important an efficient, cost-effective and compliant system is to provide life and asset protection.
DETEQ Technologies (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2004 as Ascoteq Technologies. Starting as a Security and Fire Integrator for more than 10 years, the opportunity knocked to create a service provider that specialised in Fire Systems in order to address the client’s needs more specifically. The company’s new strategy was moulded over a 4 year period and with gaining market share, DETEQ was able to acquired the clientele of Umlilo Solutions in January 2023.
